Injectable Dermal Fillers

Injectable Dermal Fillers continue to be one of the most popular and sought-after aesthetic procedures. The ability to transform facial beauty with just a 30-minute visit and minimum downtime makes injectable dermal fillers a number one treatment for many clients.

The way fillers are used depends entirely on the client’s needs and expectations. Whether the best solution is a lip filler, cheek filler, or a facial contouring session that creates a natural lifted look depends a lot on your preference, personality, and beauty style. We offer a consultation that will review your beauty highlights and needs and help you make the most impactful decision.

How can injectable dermal filler enhance my beauty?

Many, if not all, signs of aging can be traced to volume loss. Dermal filler can help smooth wrinkles such as lip lines and frown lines, fill the folds, for example, nasolabial folds and marionette lines, plump up the lips (Lip Filler) and cheeks (Cheek Filler), and restore a more youthful overall appearance when injected throughout the face to contour, volumize, and sculpt the entire face. Dermal Fillers are also well-used to restore facial symmetry.

What substances are used to make Dermal Fillers and how do I choose one?

There are a variety of substances used to make dermal fillers, with the most popular one being hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is a gel-like substance and is very much like the natural HA found in our bodies. Examples of HA fillers are Voluma, Restylane, Revanesse Versa, RHA collection, Juviderm, and many others. Different products have different properties making them more suitable for one area or another. Overall, HAs are a great choice for Lip Filler, enhancing lip borders, filling fine lines, folds, and skin indentations, such as scars. HA has the added benefit of hydrating and plumping the skin.

Sculptra, made out of Poly L Lactic Acid (PLLA), is another type of filler that works well for deeper lines and folds and is biocompatible, biodegradable, and biostimulating. It is known to help build collagen and is a great choice for overall volume loss treatment, as well as for cheek augmentation and temple, jawline, and submalar hollow enhancement and facial contouring.

Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA) filler, Radiesse, is a thicker filler that tends to build projection and aid in definition and sculpting. It also stimulates collagen production and is good for deeper folds. Great for facial contouring and symmetry treatments.

The best way to decide on a filler is in a pretreatment consultation with your physician by reviewing all the concerns and areas needing correction and finding the best option.

Other substances for volume restoration that work as Dermal Fillers are Fat injections (should be linked to the webpage on fat injections), fat-derived mesenchymal cell injections, and dermal booster injections
